We need help coming up with ideas to raise money for club equipment and to alleviate the costs of uniforms for the parents.  Please post comments with ideas on ways we can raise money for our teams.

I am a Pamapered Chef consultant. They have a fundraising program. Basically, the kids get a catalog and order forms… take orders. If the TOTAL of all the orders is under $500, the org gets 10% of the sales, if it is over $500, the org gets 15%. As the consultant, I would normally make at least 20% commission… I would donate this as well, so the organization could get up to 35-38% of the total amount of sales.

My cheer teams always do windshield washes and do awesome. We had one Saturday and only had5 people working, but still averaged $100 an hour. I have done them at Wildcat Corner and at Oak Tree Mart.

I think it would be a good idea to do a car wash, or winshield wash. I think that it should be something that the kids can do, not just something the parents have to sell. If we have to sell something, it should be Krispy Kreme donuts or something like that. Another option would be some type of concessions at our home games once we start them. Parents could take turns selling drinks and snacks before the game and during half time.

I agree with Rebekah and LaChelle. We need to have something that the kids are active participants in! I know when we have fundraisers at school I am the one that ends up selling the stuff. I like the idea of the Krisy Kremes also. I have heard they are a really good fundraiser and plus they are something different.
