Here are some tournaments we can possibly do this year.
Kansas City-Soccer Sixes Tournement July 11th & 12th(u15 team only)
We will be going to Columbia: u11 July 24th-26th
Prison Break in Leavenworth, KS. Sept 5th-7th. I really want to do this one for both u11 & u14. They don’t allow div 1 or 2 teams. So we would be playing in our range.

Board Meetings
Monthly Board meetings will be held the second Tuesday of every Month at 6:30 P.M. The meetings will be held at the Freeman Family YMCA next to Crowder College in Neosho. As always all parents are invited to attend as we will be discussing various important items for the upcoming season including tournament schedule, fundraising, MYSA Affiliation, and game schedules.

The Missouri Ozarks Futball Club is hosting a F License Coaching Clinic to be held on Thursday January 22, 2009 in Neosho, MO. The location of the clinic will be the Freeman Southwest YMCA located at 4701 Chouteau Avenue, Neosho, MO 64850. The time will be from 6 PM until 9 PM. All parents and High School Players are encouraged to attend even if you don’t think you will coach this season. This is a US Soccer coaching license that does not expire and is free for our members.
Please RSVP so I will know an approximate number who plan to attend. Thank you.

Board Meetings
The December Board meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the Freeman YMCA in Neosho, MO. This is a very important meeting as we will be transitioning new members onto the board as well as preparing for the MYSA Annual General Meeting. We will also be discussing Spring Season topics for improvement as well as the schedule for Coaching and Referee Clinics. Please plan to attend this important meeting.
I will also be posting meeting minutes for prior months meetings later this week as I attempt to find some time. I do apologize for them not all being posted at this time.

This is a very important meeting as we will be voting for League Officers as well as determining an agenda for the MYSA Annual General Meeting, Spring Season topics, Coaching and Referee Clinics, and an indoor Futsal program. This weekend is the Carthage Youth Soccer Tournament/Jamboree. The U10 team has two games their first being at 9 AM. The U14 team has three games with their first being at 10:30 AM. All games are at the Carthage Youth Soccer fields across from Wal-Mart in Carthage. The game schedules have been updated on the appropriate team pages with all games and opponents.

Both the U10 and U14 teams will have a tournament in Carthage on Sat Nov. 8th. We have delayed the U14 tounament due to the High School District tournament starting this weekend which would put a strain on our Referee availability.
